Taken at Dead Man's Hollow, off the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail in Boston, PA. Michael was showing Mackenzie the ruins of an old industrial building.

This photo was taken at Lake Shore Park in Ashtabula, OH. This is from the first trip Michael and Mackenzie took together.

JULY 27, 2023 - FLIGHT TO RALEIGH, NC

This photo was taken on an airplane from Pittsburgh to Raleigh, NC, although our final destination was New York City. This was Mackenzie's first ever plane ride, and the turbulence was horrible on this trip.

AUGUST 19, 2023 - COOPER'S ROCK STATE FOREST, WV

This photo was taken from the rock at Coopers Rock, WV. It had become a favorite spot of ours to visit.

OCTOBER 17, 2023 - SKYLINE DRIVE (SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK, VA)

This photo was taken on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. This was on a trip where Mackeznie showed Michael where she lived (and the places she frequented) in Virginia.

JULY 6, 2024 - WHITE WATER WALK (NIAGARA FALLS, ON)

This was taken on the White Water Walk in Niagara Falls, ON—which is a place where Michael had gone with his family, and wanted to share with Mackenzie. Here, the rapids, fed by the nearby Niagara Falls, are extremely intense—and are quite mesmerizing to watch.

MARCH 12, 2025 - THE LIVING MĀORI VILLAGE (WHAKAREWAREWA, ROTORUA, NZ)

This photo was taken near Rotorua, NZ, at The Living Māori Village of Whakarewarewa. We got to watch a very special Haka performance, meet many residents of the village, and explore the geothermal hot springs there.

JANUARY 4, 2026 - HEINZ FIELD (PITTSBURGH, PA)

Michael took Mackenzie to see the Steelers play against the Ravens at Heinz Field as an early birthday gift. This game was awesome as the Steelers beat the Ravens and made it to the playoffs. This was also Michael’s first Steelers game.
